Rabbi Nicole Fix
Rabbi Nicole Fix (she / her) co-founded the Rabbinic Arts Company where she is grateful to do the deep work of engaging artists around text-based learning and creation. Nicole’s writing has appeared in publications such as Monday Night, Nimrod Journal of International Writing, Post Road Magazine, Go! Magazine, Evolve and Ritual Well. She was awarded Reconstructing Judaism’s Auerbach Innovation Launch Grant and the Alice Stein Essay Prize and is the recipient of the Elizabeth George Foundation Grant. Nicole has served in rabbinic capacities at the Center for Small Town Jewish Life in Maine, Temple Beth El Augusta, Kolot Chayeinu, the School for Creative Judaism and currently serves at Paul’s Run Retirement Community. Additionally, Nicole is a founder of Page 73 Productions, an award-winning New York City based theater company. Nicole holds a B.F.A. from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama. She received rabbinic ordination from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.

One-off or multi-class workshops engage text through an artistic lens. Employing theatrical techniques, participants delve into traditional text and create interpretive midrash of their own. Available to community groups, synagogues, and adult students, including seminary students.

Nicole would welcome the opportunity to spend Shabbat in community with you, leading services, teaching Torah study, and offering divrei Torah.
